The Mobility Transportation Program provides free on-campus transportation to all students with permanent and temporary mobility limitations. Our job is to ensure mobility limitations do not prevent students from attending classes or engaging in campus life. We transport students using zero-emission electric golf carts, including a wheelchair-accessible cart, to and from campus, whether that be from their residence or any location on or near campus.
We are requesting this funding because our program has grown rapidly in the last few years, providing over 5,500 rides in the last school year and more than 2,000 rides in 2025 Fall Quarter alone. This fee will directly cover student driver salaries, a permanent program manager, as well as additional fees (such as insurance, charging and parking) necessary to maintain the program.
