Next Steps After Declaration

The next step is the Declaration of Candidacy (DoC) meeting on Zoom, scheduled for Thursday 10/15 from 4-5pm. After you have declared, we will send you an email with Zoom meeting registration info. Please let us know if you do not receive the email within 48 hours of your declaration. Remember, you must complete the declaration form first before you will receive a meeting invite.

The DoC meeting is mandatory in order to run. If you are not able to attend due to a work/school conflict you can choose to send a proxy in your place who is capable of taking notes for you.

Spring General Election

If you are not eligible for the SAG position and/or decided that you are interested in running for next year’s AS instead, this Spring you can run for a student leadership position for the 2021-22 year (next school year).

In the yearly Spring General Election, all AS elected positions will be open. Candidate registration for the Spring General Election starts in February 2021 and we’ll hold an informational session during that time. If you are interested in that, [fill out this Google Form] to be added to our email list and we’ll make sure to email you mid-February.
