Jake Horvitz

My name is Jake Horvitz, and I’m running for A.S. Off-Campus Senator to better represent UCSB students in Isla Vista. Many students face challenges with housing costs, tenant rights, safety at night, and infrastructure issues like poor lighting and bike safety.

As Off-Campus Senator, I will advocate for stronger tenant awareness, work with local organizations to improve safety and street lighting in Isla Vista, and ensure student voices are represented when decisions impact off-campus life. My goal is to help make Isla Vista a safer, more supportive place for UCSB students.
