Hey, Gauchos! I’m CJ—an artist, organizer, and advocate. As an Indigenous, Mexican, and Muslim student, I know firsthand how powerful real representation can be. Here at UCSB, I’ve served as President of Santa Catalina’s RHA, organized protests, and built bridges through art and coalition work with amazing clubs like Students for Justice in Palestine, El Congreso, the Black Women’s Health Collaborative and more.

I see how the cost of living crisis and loneliness epidemic are affecting students, and I’m running to make sure your voice is heard. During my term in office, fighting for housing, food security, mental health support, and providing inclusive, fun events as party alternatives.

I plan on representing you and leading with empathy, action, and accountability. If you want to feel heard and represented, then vote CJ for collegiate senator.
