Leon Barhoum

Hello UCSB!

My name is LEON BARHOUM and I am running to be your next On-campus Senator. My pronouns are he/him/his, and I am a Global Studies major and German minor. I am passionate about the need for equity, inclusion, and diversity both on campus and off. I have 5+ years of public service experience, most recently on the board of RHA and as Community Events Chair for the EVPLA office. As a Global Studies major, I am eager to cultivate and foster diverse world views on campus. I am a fierce advocate for my constituents and am proud of my reputation for bipartisanship leadership. As senator, I aim to represent the interests of all students in the Gaucho community, especially those often marginalized or oppressed.
