Ariana Cuevas

Hello I am Ariana Cuevas! I am a fourth year history major. I am running for Student Advocate General because I want every student to know their rights and have their voices heard. The opportunities I have had throughout my UCSB journey has involved education. Education through the classroom environment, exposing students to underrepresented topics in Santa Barbara such as art history, art, and languages/culture. Community outreach has been a center goal of mine and through my extracurriculars I have been able to achieve it. I am currently in Santa Barbara working as a tutor helping kids from k-6th grade reach their highest potential and ensure they have the tools needed to succeed. As student advocate general I would lead with inclusivity, passion and determination.
