Do you support the continued funding of $1.03, (of the $1.03 collected, $0.05 is for the administrative assessment, and $0.26 is for Return to Aid) per undergraduate student per quarter (fall, winter, spring) for the Commission on Student Well Being (COSWB)?
Pro Statements
The Associated Students Commission on Student Well-Being (COSWB) is dedicated to supporting the overall health of UCSB undergraduates, with a focus on physical, mental, and nutritional wellness. The Commission aims to raise awareness, offer educational resources, advocate for student needs, and act as a hub for campus social services. Through its initiatives, COSWB strives to create inclusive and supportive spaces that reflect its commitment to student
wellness.
Reaffirming COSWB means that it will be able to continue supporting student well-being through meaningful, completely free events and services! From the beloved dog therapy days with Health & Wellness to study jams, fitness classes, movie nights, and finals essentials stations stocked with free scantrons, snacks, and affirmations– COSWB is committed to building a healthier, more connected campus.
COSWB also collaborates with partners like Girl Gains, the Isla Vista Community Relations Committee, Public and Mental Health Commission, and the Department of Recreation to make these events even more impactful. COSWB has hosted everything from bike workshops to overdose prevention outreach and even petting zoos! Let’s keep COSWB thriving!
